Service Projects Committee by Fr. Jason Micheni


The main objective of a Rotary Club has been and will always be service in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world. . It is this spirit of "Service Above Self" that makes Rotary a unique and special organization that makes a real impact in the world.


Purpose:

The purpose of the club service projects committee is to help identify, develop and implement projects (educational, humanitarian, and vocational) that will provide valued assistance, deliver enduring positive outcomes, and utilize member's skills and talents.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the club service projects committee include


 -Develop committee goals to achieve club service project goals for the coming year.

 -Conduct service projects that include assessments, planning, and evaluation.

 -Create a balanced program of service.

 -Work with other organizations, volunteers, and committee members to maximize the impact of our projects.

 -Lead fundraising efforts to fund projects.
